If you were in attendance that night, then you probably remember just how quickly the temperatures dropped and the wind kicked up when the sun went down. The crowds huddled around outdoor heaters chomping down food truck delights, tried to warm up while admiring art in an old railroad car… or just braved the cold and watched the performance while downing bottles of Stella.

“Faces in the Mirror” tells the story of Ben Fisher, a young man who returns home to bury his workaholic father after years of estrangement. On the day of his father’s funeral, Ben goes on a dream-like odyssey where he’s led, portal by portal, to fantastical places with mystifying people who all seem to be guiding him somewhere. He’s looking for a way to be free of his pain and guilt. He’s looking for forgiveness.

Through a collection of music, visuals and emotion, “Faces in the Mirror”  is a film that’s not only meant to be seen, it’s meant to be experienced.

A Band of Rogues (Argentina)

Director: T Jara Morgan

The first feature film from Atlanta-based writer-director T. Jara Morgan, A Band of Rogues tells the story of four American musicians (local actors/musicians Luke Williams, Leonardo Santaiti, Jake Ayers and Emory Goocher) stuck in Argentina after they are arrested with possession of drugs. Told in eleven chapters, each of which coincides with a track on their album, this story follows their adventures through rehab, across the country of Argentina, and finally into Chile.

Iceberg Slim: Portrait of a Pimp (USA)

Iceberg Slim: Portrait of a Pimp examines the tumultuous life of legendary Chicago pimp Iceberg Slim (1918-1992) and how he reinvented himself from pimp to author of 7 groundbreaking books. These books were the birth of Street Lit and explored the world of the ghetto in gritty and poetic detail and have made him a cultural icon. Interviews with Iceberg Slim, Chris Rock, Henry Rollins, Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, and Quincy Jones

Art by Micah Stansell, Romy Maloon, Lana Vogestad, Jane Garver, and Nikki Starz&Sarah Flinn will be scattered throughout the area – alluring artwork from all.

Food will be available from Good Food Truck, Yumbi, Sweet Auburn BBQ – a bunch of unique and delicious meals for you to munch on.
